BiTurbo Tuesday

I sure do get a lot of hits for the BiTurbo. Would it help some of you guys if I were to update the blow with some of the things I am doing with the car? Leave a comment or shoot me a note to my email. I’m happy to share as I have been debating selling it……I simply do not drive the thing and I need a 4 door sedan for the kiddos……hmmmmmmm.

Anyways, here is a recent picture of it…I need to get the front rotors turned…or find some awesome big brake kit for it, possibly use the Ferrari Brembos I have from the 348.

The New Wave of Custom Motorcycles

With all of the industry news that I subscribe to, Motorcycle & Powersports News (or MPN) is one that I fancy…..sometimes skimming it for new gear and stories on what is really current in the world of dealerships and service centers. They send out a weekly (or so) newsletter and I was shocked to find an article about one of my passions – Garage Built Bikes. Most of the article focuses on Classified Moto, a shop in VA. that was spawned when a moonlighting bike builder was layed off from his job and in turn was given the opportunity to build a bike for a friend…..that bike turned into many more and some really great Etsy lamps also! Give the article a read and subscribe to their newsletter, I wont post the whole article here……..that’s plagiarism….isn’t it…of sorts at least. What do you guys think about some of the newer minimalist builders out there?

Sunday Reading

Since I revised the Z31 Blog into this whole Garage Cleveland deal and I am making it more “bloggy” instead of just updates for my Z31 Brethren, I figure I might as well put up something cool to peruse or at least post up whatever it is that I am looking at while I am having Sunday Brunch. So – might not be car related – or it might be, anyways – here goes nothing!

So I am reading through last month’s Grassroots Motorsports and I came upon a URL for an awesome website. Spanning the years of 1971 to 1993, this site gives a quick review of the major happenings of IMSA during that specific year’s racing explotes. Some of the gallerys (that work) are pretty awesome, my personal favorite being the 1984 gallery – with pictures of M1s and Ferraris that were duking it out with Oldsmobiles and Fieros – pretty awesome stuff. Stop by and check it out!
